Well since I suck at blogging I figured I would do one big post about the summer. A lot has happened, I turned 23! Ry and I celebrated our first anniversary! We rodeoed quite a bit! Went boating a few times, worked a lot, had a stud in stallion alley at the fair, went swimming at my parents almost every sun day! Celebrated a lot of family birthdays. Drove the horses in the parade and around town very often, bought some new horses, bought a new wagon, went to the drive in (fell asleep), went to the swap meet, ate a lot, cooked a lot, laughed a lot! Drove to Rexburg a lot, picked up my brother in law who broke both arms(silly boy). Karah broke her arm doing a little evil- canevil herself trying to be like daddy and uncle Nick. Roped a lot but not enough, watched Shylee grow up before my eyes, Annie makes me want to be a kid again, and Hallie has more attitude than I know what to do with, I think she gets that from her mom's side of the family :) SkyLee and Rowdy tagged along with us several times, love them kids :)I got a new nephew, Wyatt Legend Butler, and Holly and Lance got a new brother. One more niece on the way and Lacy is prego and doesn't know what it is yet.I am just waiting for Mandy and Nick to tell us they are pregnant too:) I just love the summer, I love the hot days and warm nights, I love sun tans and ice cream, I love summer rain and crazy Utah weather. I love the smell of hot leather and the creek of the saddles, I fall in love with Ryan all over again every summer. He is such a hard worker and has such a love for the cowboy way of life. I love running in the morning when it is still cool but the sun is shining! I love life. I'm sad that summer is over but I am excited for fall and all the comes with it! Look at my pictures and leave me a comment so I know you are out there!
Shylee and Annie Jo's birthday party. Ryan and I took the horses over and gave wagon rides. It was a big hit!

Echo Reservoir with the family! It felt so good to get out on the water. We didn't have near enough of that this summer! Love my sista's and Ma!

4th of July

We took the team to the parade in Slaterville and had a blast. Everyone loved the team and the wagon. I'm so proud of my husbands handy work. He and his brother Jer built the wagon from the frame up. Little Rowdy had to sit on Ryan's lap the whole time or he would scream and cry. It was hilarious. Ryan was trying to get the horses to hold still, but they kept wanting to go and go and we could couldn't figure out why they were wanting to go so much. Finally some one figured out that Rowdy was kissing to the horses, and with these to horses one kiss and they are gone. It was so funny. Rowdy had to have his hands on the reigns the whole time. Gotta love that kid.

Rodeo :)

Well the Evanston Rodeo Series started last night and we entered up. We had a good time. We didn't do any good but we had a good time. I love everything about the rodeo, the sounds, the smells, the dust, the feeling of being a part of something bigger than your self. I love, love, love it. I especially love the way my man looks in his cowboy hat. I'll have to snag a picture next time because he is smokin' hot!!!
