Rodeo :)

Well the Evanston Rodeo Series started last night and we entered up. We had a good time. We didn't do any good but we had a good time. I love everything about the rodeo, the sounds, the smells, the dust, the feeling of being a part of something bigger than your self. I love, love, love it. I especially love the way my man looks in his cowboy hat. I'll have to snag a picture next time because he is smokin' hot!!!

Ropin' and Runnin' (PIC OVERLOAD!)

We've been having a blast this summer roping and I have been running. I am loving having no school and working full time. It is great. love life! On May 8 we did the race for the cure again this year. We went down and stayed at the Hyatt Place right next to the gateway. Mandy and I ran the race and the rest of my familia walked. We had so much fun and it was a much deserved night on the town for all us girls. Today I ran the BAM race in memory of Aaron Greer with my sista Mandy. I am friends with his sister and it turned out great. The Mckellars put it on and did an awesome job. I ran it in 25 and froze my butt off. I love that me and Mandy are both running and we can do it together. It is awesome to have a running buddy. Love ya Mand! I also love roping with my freakin Hot Hubby! Love ya baby. BOOBIE WARRIORS! Breast Cancer can BITE IT!

This amazing women is a 10 YEAR Survivor of breast cancer! Woohoo! GO MAMA! My grandma also just got done fighting her own battle with breast cancer GO RUBY :) . Well school is out for the summer and life is taking off :0) I love this warm weather we've been having. We are the proud owners of five roping steers and can't wait to get roping. We went and helped brand calves on Saturday and we had a blast. We have roped twice so far, not much, but better than nothing. Ry has been working a lot of over time and I am going crazy at home. I have tired to pick up any extra shifts at work but there aren't many available at the moment. I have started watching my niece and nephew and it is so much fun. They are such cute kids, ya never know whats going to come out of a four year olds mouth. W e bought a new truck as seen above :) I love it. Ry wouldn't smile for a picture dyeing easter eggs. I took three and that was the best one. What a butt head.

BusY buSY!

Life has been very busy lately as usual. I have just under three weeks left for this semseter and then I have the summer off! Ryan and I are so excited, we are planning on playing very hard and roping all we can. Can't wait for the warm weather and all the festivites of summer, fairs, rodeo's, picnics, boating, drive inn, late nights, summer rain, BBQ's oh if it was only summer all the time! I think I have spring fever, anyone else?

So Saturday night Ryan's brother put on a country swing dance. I had so much fun. Ry isn't much of a dancer but my little niece SkyLee is. We danced the night away! It was fun for us to get out and do something out of the ordinary. I love my husband more than anything. I'm so glad I hooked him three and a half years ago at the fair. Wouldn't change a thing. Nursing school is going good so far, but I may be singing a different tune next Friday. I think we took a jump from the wading pool to treading water in the deep end. I've met some really great girls and I'm excited to learn more about taking care of people. Until next time :)
