My goofy hubby fractured his fibula. He went hunting with my brothers and dad and was helping my brother drag his cow out. They were on a steep hill and the cow started to slide and Ryan got pinned between the cow and a log. Dakota had to get the 900-1000 lb cow off of Ryan by his self. Anyway we went to the doctor and it's broke. My man has a affinity to getting hurt. Love him dearly, can't keep him healthy to save my life :)

WoW! WhErE dOeS tHe TiMe Go?
Well life for me and Ryan has been busy busy. I have been working and going to school. Ryan is working and always has someone he is helping. I swear I have the most selfless, giving husband! He never put his self first and he is always doing a favor for somebody. I married a good man :) We had family pictures taken a month or so ago and I think they turned out pretty good. I will need to get a copy of the one of me, Ry and Bill its really cute. I'm sorry I am so bad at updating this blog. I haven't even put our wedding pictures up yet. Oops. Anyway I am really looking forward to the holiday season and I can't wait to start the program in January. The sooner I start the sooner it is over! Hope you are all doing well. Happy Holidays to all!!

HaRvEsT tImE!!!
I love this time of year! Although the summer is fading and the cooler weather will soon be upon us, now is the time we reap what we sow. Ryan and I planted a garden before we got married and it went CrAzY! Our squash plants grew out of our garden and about 15 feet towards the road. My neighbor referred to them as the squash plants that ate Manhattan :) Here are a few pictures. I canned 24 pints of peach jam (requested by my Ry), 12 pints if peaches, and 6 pints of apricot jam. I am looking forward to canning some salsa and maybe some tomatoes. Oh and I think our squash cross pollinated because we have a few funky looking squash.
PS if anybody would like squash I have plenty, the catch is you have to come and visit me to get some:)

Marriage and all it entails!
So I have officially been Mrs. Butler for a little over a month. I must say I have absolutely loved every minute of it. I have not been disappointed once! That is probably in part with the fact that I married the most amazing man on earth. Yes that means my husband is better than yours! Here are a few things I love and love not so much about marriage.
Loves
- Waking up next to Ry.
- Going home after work to Ry.
- Cooking dinner, I pretty good I must admit :)
- Walking around our cute neighborhood
- Visiting with our cooky 84 year old neighbor
- Not having to share a laundry room with 5 other people!( Other people that I love!)
- Having Bill ( our blue heeler) around all the time
- Being able to go home and just relax.
- Growing my own garden. Our squash have taken over our entire yard. My neighbor ( not the 84 year old one) says its the squash that ate Manhattan!
- My husband does laundry and I don't even have to ask!
- Knowing that it me and Ry forever! He loves me:)
Love not so Much
- Not having a dish washer
- Baking and not having a bunch of siblings eat it all. Me and Ry end up eating way more than we should.
- I miss sitting on the porch with my parents why they drink their coffee.
- Not having a computer or the Internet at my own home
-Having milk go bad because we don't drink it fast enough
Over all I love my life and I am so unbelievably lucky to have Ryan as a husband. Best decision I ever made! Love you baby!
Pictures of wedding and honeymoon to come.
Stay tuned:)

Well I am getting married in a little less than two weeks and I am more than ready. I have had three bridals showers and I was spoiled rotten! At the shower for my side of the family my sisters made me where a crown and a ribbon, as shown above. I'm having a blast. Sorry I haven't blogged lately. Life is busy. I'm sure this will be my last post for quite a while. So I hope to see you all at my wedding! Chow! :)

Last Call for addresses
Well only a month left until the wedding. I can't wait! I think we have almost everything done. We got all the invitations put together last night and thanks to Ryan's mom we got about 98% of the addresses too, but there are a few more I need. If I haven't asked for your address or if your not sure if I have it email me. daniellemark@mail.weber.edu. Things are moving along fairly smoothly. My first shower is on saturday from 11-1 at my parents house. If anyone wants to come feel free :) I'm getting my bridals taken on wednesday and all I have left to do after that is put a couple CD's together for dancing afterwards. I'm very anxious and excited. A few of the girls I work with keep telling me how awful showers are but I'm excited. I love my family and what better excuse to get together. Can't wait to see everyone, pictures to come!

Sweet Love
There is nothing sweeter than being in love! Everything seems to be falling in place for me and Ry. I found my dress! I'm not posting details, Ryan can't know a thing. If you want to see it , guess you'll just have to come to the wedding :)! We found HOUSE! It's teeny, tiny, but I've never been more excited for anything in my life. It's in Plain City, and its adorable. I'm already excited to plant flowers and trying my hand at gardening. It's ours starting March 1st. Ryan and I had the best Valentines yet. Seeing as how we are about to enter the real world, we didn't want to spend too much. So I decided we would stay in, and I surprised him with a candle lit dinner. It was great. I love to cook! I set it all up in a spare bedroom, with candles and music, the whole shebang. When he got to my house, he came in the kitchen with a dozen beautiful roses. I turned to him and apologized for not having something more special for him. Then as the food got done I asked him to go out to the car and grab my camera. When he went outside I shifted gears and hustled all the food up to our little make believe get away. I had the music playing softly, and all the lights off, except for the candles burning. When he came back in I took him by the hand and led him to our table. It was so romantic, just me and him . No back ground noise, or waiting to be seated, it was perfect. Then we finished the night visiting with Mandy and Nick and stuffing our faces with cookies and ice cream. Life is so good! Oh and we set a date. June 26, 2009. Don't miss it!

I'm ENGAGED!!!!
Well after a really challenging year I finally have some good news. Ryan finally purposed!! It was so perfect. Ryan sent one of his rope horses down to Arizona to sell and I kept teasing him about what he was going to do with the money, so he never told me when he sold him. On Saturday we were down on his property having a trap shoot for his birthday, we invited all the people we love the most. My family was there and so was his. I was standing by the fire and he came and put his arms around me. He started almost whispering to me, he asked me what I thought would make the day more perfect. I just said I don't know, he kept trying to get me to guess. That's when I noticed the circle of people around us. Here's where it starts to get fuzzy. I looked around at everyone staring and then back at Ryan. He said, "I sold Boozer," (that's the horse). That's when it clicked. I felt like everything was in slow motion. Everyone was ewing and awing as I saw Ryan pull a little white box out of his pocket. Then he's down on one knee and I heard "Will you marry me?" as clear as day. I was so excited I said yes about one hundred times and almost pushed Ryan into the fire when I was hugging him.My brother in law got it all on film. Then about one minuted after, I said, "Wait a sec, did you ask my dad?" (He had asked my dad about ten minutes before). It was amazing. Ryan knows me so well. It was perfect, I had just promised myself to someone for the rest of time, and all the people I love were right there with me, waiting to celebrate. I told my mom I'd always wondered what it would feel like, and I never thought it would feel so good. I love you Ry, forever and ever babe. Sorry the ring pic is fuzzy.

An Ode To Jake
This is an Ode to Jake, The best horse I've ever had. My heart is breaking with sorrow. You were many things to me, but most of all you were a teacher. You taught me trust and patience, responsibility and respect, hard work and unconditional love. You were patient with me when I learned to rope, and you took me to my first Rodeo. You were my pal and on snowy days I wished I could bring you in the house with me. Thank you for all you gave to me, thank you for giving your heart to Rodeo. I'm sorry we had to lose you like this. I wish I could have done something more for you. I love you Jake.
